We found ourselves standing in the amber glow of a traditional Kentucky rickhouse, where the air was thick with the scent of toasted oak and sweet corn. The initial nose offered a classic foundation of creamy vanilla and warm caramel, balanced by a faint hint of red orchard fruit. The palate was substantial and oily, carrying the weight of butterscotch and toasted pecans across the tongue.
